As the Director of UX, I lead the StumbleUpon’s iOS and Android app redesigns. To support the redesign and ongoing app improvements, I recruited and hired a Senior Visual Designer and two UX designers. I personally contributed flow charts, animations, and mock ups for the apps, and conducted in-person and remote usability tests to inform design iteration. By directly surveying the Stumblers, the redesigned iOS app indexed at 51 NPS and garnered a customer satisfaction top-2 box rating of 92.3%.
